Celebrating two million transatlantic guests in 2018

This week, we celebrated our two millionth transatlantic booking. Damien Coin-Perard, who made the milestone booking in October, was welcomed onboard flight EI147.

Two Million Guests

Damien’s journey from Paris to San Francisco via Dublin was made even more enjoyable with an upgrade to Business Class. He also received two complimentary flights to fly with us from North America to a European city of his choice.

Our Business Class cabin, available on all transatlantic services, offers fully lie-flat seats allowing guests to stretch out and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Business Class guests also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, the latest blockbuster movies and TV series packaged in more than 120 hours of in-flight entertainment, not to mention the finest Irish cuisine.

Since joining IAG in 2015, we have launched eight new direct transatlantic services to North America including Los Angeles, Newark, Hartford, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle and most recently Montreal and Minneapolis-St. Paul, marking this the largest ever period of transatlantic expansion in our history. Summer 2019 will see us offer three million more seats on our longhaul network.

We continue to drive our strategy of expanding our Dublin Airport base into a major European transatlantic gateway. We offer seamless connections from Europe and the UK to 15 destinations across North America. Connecting via Dublin, guests can benefit from US Immigration Preclearance before they depart, allowing them to arrive into the US like a domestic passenger, avoiding any lengthy queues.
