Record numbers jet off this June bank holiday

We’ll carry over 212,000 guests to and from Ireland this long weekend.

The arrival of the June Bank Holiday marks the real start of summer. As schools draw to a close, the summer holiday season is really hotting up. As Ireland’s only 4 Star airline, we’ll operate our biggest-ever summer schedule this year, flying more than 100 routes between Ireland and the UK and Europe, as well as 15 direct routes to North America.

Aer Lingus A330

Aer Lingus Staff and guest interact

‘Evening Before’ Check-In
We offer ‘Evening Before’ Check-In at Dublin and Cork Airports. Guests travelling between 6am and 8am can check in their baggage on the evening before their flight – ideal for families travelling with kids.

Family First
Our Family First initiative is ideal for young families travelling this summer. It gives children aged between two and eleven half price checked bags and seat selection within Europe.

Smart Check-In
To minimise airport queues, you can check in online from the comfort of your own home, or even on your mobile when you’re on the go. It’s that simple and it’s that smart.

Express Bag Drop
Speed through airport check-in and try out our Express Bag Drop facility in Dublin Airport where there are over 40 kiosks.

Be the first to board
We offer a pre-boarding facility to families travelling with infants and young children and also to passengers who may require special assistance. Buggies can be dropped off at the gate prior to departure and delivered to the gate on arrival (where the operation allows).
