Celebrating 10 years of partnership with JetBlue

This month we’re celebrating 10 years of seamless connections in New York and Boston with our partners, JetBlue Airways.

Aer Lingus and JetBlue Staff

In 2008, we joined forces with JetBlue to create new travel options for guests travelling between the U.S. and Ireland. Five years later, we expanded our partnership to a codeshare agreement which allowed guests benefit from one-stop check-in and seamless baggage transfer. Now, on the tenth anniversary of our partnership, we’re proud to report that over half a million guests have since availed of flight connections between numerous JetBlue cities in the U.S. and Aer Lingus destinations in Ireland and throughout Europe.

We were the very first international carrier to partner with JetBlue. Today, we offer multiple daily nonstop services from Dublin and Shannon direct to JetBlue’s T5 Terminal at New York JFK and Terminal C at Boston creating convenient connections to cities such as Atlanta, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale and many more. It’s been a pleasure to work with our friends at JetBlue and we look forward to many more years of success.

Dublin Airport is the only major airport in Europe to offer U.S. preclearance, which allows our guests to save time on arrival in the U.S. by completing all the necessary immigration and customs checks prior to departure.
