6 Walks Around London that are Simply Amazing

First thoughts of London may be as a bit of a concrete jungle, but visitors may be surprised to find it’s also home to some wonderfully scenic walks. It’s never been easier to fly from Knock, Shannon, Dublin, Cork or Belfast to the historic city and discover everything it has to offer.

1. Hammersmith Circular Walk

Take a walk along the Thames in the west of London. Head from Barnes Bridge to Hammersmith with the trail taking you along the river for some greats views of Barnes, Hammersmith and the Leg O’Mutton Nature Reserve.


2. Pool of London

Again, this amazing walk is along the Thames and you walk from London Bridge to Tower Bridge and back to the Monument. There are some famous sights in this area, so you’ll be able to get some sight seeing in as well as exercise.

3. Camden

Starting off at Warwick Avenue Station head along the Regents Canal. You’ll make your way through Little Venice and on to Camden Lock Market.

4. Hyde Park

Head from Marble Arch through Hyde Park and on towards Harrods. Why not stop off in the amazing Kensington Palace Gardens? Just look at that view…

5. Central London

Starting at Westminster and head on to Borough Market along the river. When you’re done, stop off at the market and grab something to eat from one of its many delicious stalls.

6. Parkland Walk

If you’re looking to get away from the city streets, the Parkland Walk may tickle your fancy. Going all the way from Finsbury Park to Muswell Hill, the overgrown trail full of woodland is an amazing walk to take with someone who truly appreciates the great outdoors.
